Natalia Bustamante is a sound artist and musician from Bogota based in Berlin.
Her practice includes sound installations, acoustic and electroacoustic composition, and sound sculptures.
The focus of her works lies on the perception of space-time, the articulation of movement, and their relation to sound.
Her works have been exhibited and performed in venues such as the Akademie der Künste Berlin (DE), Hamburger Bahnhof Museum Berlin (DE), Museo Nacional de Colombia (CO), Fondation Ancienne Poste (CH), Gilberto Alzate Avendaño Foundation (CO), QG Centre d’art contemporain de La Chaux-de-Fonds (CH), National Center of Dance Bucharest (RO), and the Kiisu Theater at Outokumpu (FI).
Bustamante holds a degree in Music from the Javeriana University in Bogota and a Master of Arts in Sound Studies from the Univeristy of the Arts -UdK- in Berlin.
Natalia is Product Manager for content engineering at IDAGIO, a start-up focused on reinventing music streaming for classical music.
